The Diocesan Youth Team Consists of the following:

a) Steve Bullock

Role: Diocesan Youth Officer

Hours Worked: 2.5 days a week

Length of Post: permanent

Funded through Parish Share

Responsbilities

• To resource support and develop quality youth work across the Diocese
• To act as a youth work/ministry consultant to parishes
• To lead on all aspects of youth ministry training
• To engage in multiagency consultations
• To ensure an ongoing programme of support for young people, youth leaders and those concerned with young people

b) Rev Steve Jarvis

Role: Diocesan Youth Development Officer

Hours Worked: full time

Length of Post: 3/4 years fixed term

Funded through the Development Fund

Due to start Spring 2010

Responsbilities:

• To help the church develop young disciples, young leaders and young people willing to engage in participation activities 

c) Hannah Cooke

Role: Diocesan Affliated Schools Worker

Hours Worked: full time

Length of Post: 3/4 years fixed term

Funded through the Development Fund

Due to start January 2010

Responsbilities:

• To develop informal educational opportunitieis in Severn Vale School Gloucester, The Cotswold School and the surrounding communitieis

d) Joe Knight

Role: 24/7 prayer development worker

Employer: The Bizz Gloucester

Sponsored for 1 year by the Diocese of Gloucester

Funded through the Development Fund

Responsbilities:

• To develop prayer opportunitieis and resources for young people in Gloucester and across the Diocese
